Baltas Cafe is a different sort of cafe in the Schoeneberg area in that its more stylish than the others and probably suffers at times from been uber trendy. But saying that I am adding it because Baltas is one of the best places to work with a laptop or just sit back and watch people walk by. It is also self service, you order your coffee and pay and they bring it down to you. Service is always very friendly. Food here is mostly sandwiches and pastries but all very tasty and filling. You can also buy yesterdays food at a 50% discount. But watch out for the odd idiot, entertaining to watch though.

Great pick, love this place and I have been working on my computer here a lot. The coffee was brilliant and had some nice fresh salad too.
Good choice for sure, I like hanging out here, the only problem I have with it is that sometimes the music they play here can be dreadful.
