Double Eye, Schoeneberg

Double Eye are World Champion Baristas and they have the award to prove it, they also have been German Champions, European Champions for coffee making and for Latte art, amazing achievements indeed. The first thing you notice at Double Eye is the amount of people outside on the street and inside the small steh cafe (stand cafe), no matter the weather and particularly when the weather is good as they have funky outdoor seating and people will stand on the street with their beverage. Their coffee selection is great and they ask you a lot of questions about your coffee... how strong, with or without milk, etc. They serve the best coffee at the best prices and they always serve them with a smile. Actually the prices here are some of the cheapest I have seen in Berlin and for such top quality, its the reason why its full every day. Maybe ts not a cafe you would spend a lot of time at due to the fact that there are no seats inside but everybody sits outside or stand and this cafe is a real local institution. You come here for one thing and thats COFFEE, a huge variety including the Double Eye Special and Super Special. They close in the evening.
Address: Akazienstr. 22 U-bahn: Kleist Park or Eisenacherstr.

Have to say, this is the best coffee I have had in Berlin since I arrived, such a nice feeling after my coffee. They have a big variety and some nice treats. It was pretty cheap too. Yummy

What? If this is the best, it is time to open another one. My espresso was burnt and the guy's fingernails were dirty. Yuck.

Had to check this out when I read such a cool review. Have to agree, best coffee I have had in Berlin, thought the staff were really nice too. Wished I lived in Schoeneberg but it was worth the trek over from Kreuzberg.

Well worth visiting, an amazing coffee. I also liked the great coffee art, my cappucino was almost too beautiful to put my spoon into. A really nice atmosphere too and incredibly busy.

Excuse me but GOD DAMN IT.... After reading the review here and on TT, I had to try the coffee. It was superb, a perfect coffee. I'm so jealous I don;t live in the neighbourhood. Well done.

Best coffee in Berlin, well a lot of people say that and I have been disappointed so after reading about DoubleEye numerous times I had to find out for myself. Ok on first impression I wasn't blown away by the small place. I stayed for two coffee and they were sublime, both perfect and would love to live close to this place. Is it the best coffee in Berlin, I guess it comes close, wow and very cheap too even for Berlin. Well done with the website, keep it up.
